Thank you, Jason.

I used Band-In-A-Box to create the backing track. Then, while listening to the backing track through ear buds, I recorded the melody. I used RealBand for that, but the free Audacity would work just as well. Reverb on the melody and mixing the two tracks was done with RealBand (or Audacity, if you like).

Thank you. Its one of my favorites, which is funny because I procrastinated playing it for months. The three fast notes involve a low 2nd finger which I was super afraid to try. Its the first song I played a low finger on. I’ve worked vary hard on my bowing from day one but it still needs work. I’m trying to remember to use more of my bow. Long…[Read more]
