And here are a couple of the note cards I’m making for the tunes I know. This process is really helping me ‘hear’ the tunes better. Something about writing the notes as I hum is helping me musically.

Here are the practice cards I made after our practice session last Monday. I have 16 so far on this little ring, which I just happened to have waiting for a great project. And I’ve used them already!

I’ve been having fun with the free Garageband app today. I audio recorded myself playing the melody and then added another harmony recording to it. I find doing this amazing for finding better pitch, timing, and also blending volume well with my other recording… ultimate practise to help me play with others more easily…[Read more]-
