I’m Rick and I have been playing fiddle for almost a week now. I’ve taken it up again after a 40 year break and I am having a blast.

I decided to remove my fingering assist from the finger board. Freedom. I did not realize how much I was looking at that to find my notes. Now I will be forced to do it by ear. -

Left had tremors, possibly right hand tremors beginning. It’s really impacting my fiddle playing!!! Anyone out there with Parkinson’s or other tremors that can give some insight/assistance? Thanks!!

Hey Marg, thank you so much! I love this tune and I’m not much at playing fast songs so I was really interested after Tom introduced us to it. I love Jason’s comments and they help tremendously. Still lots of work to be done….

Thanks Marg! Now, after practicing what Jocelyn taught me for a few weeks, I cringe when I watch that video and see how stiff my bowing is!! I think I have improved some since then.
