I mainly play baroque and renaissance recorder in a chamber group and after going to a couple Irish sessions got obsessed with playing fiddle. I’m Rick and I have been playing fiddle for almost a week now. I’ve taken it up again after a 40 year break and I am having a blast.
I trained as a classical violinist in school for about 10 years and then discovered partying and women so of course practicing Mozart was not a priority. (What a fool I was LOL)

I decided to remove my fingering assist from the finger board. Freedom. I did not realize how much I was looking at that to find my notes. Now I will be forced to do it by ear. - Load More
