Thanks for posting, Niels. That was a very tuneful rendition of the song for first go. Makes me want to play it now! Look forward to hearing you play it in a couple of weeks after your practice journey. It’s inspiring watching and hearing how others improve on this forum, and motivating to get in there and practice new techniques and revisit songs.

Great tune, and you played it beautifully! Is that one you learnt on Fiddlehed? If not, where? And would be a lovely one to add!

– Warmed up with C major scales and variations, also D major and A major.
– Practiced Jason’s Smiling Bows.
– Worked on vibrato exercises with metronome for a significant time.
– Played White Christmas with vibrato.

Well, Phoebe, I’m glad you liked it and that you’re on your Fiddlehed journey. It’s a very exciting place to be. I’ve just finished my 2nd year and love playing everyday and even though there always seems so much more to learn, it’s never daunting. I’ve finally learnt to have fun and enjoy the practice.
