Hi Elise, well the difference between the two is very big, although they both have similar roots. A couple of my favorite old time tunes are Hangman’s Reel and Shove That Pigs Foot a Little Further into the Fire (quite a title, right?) Thanks Marg! Now, after practicing what Jocelyn taught me for a few weeks, I cringe when I watch that video and see how stiff my bowing is!! I think I have improved some since then.
